Agile Teaching and Learning has created other challenges as well. For instance, the combination within a single course of significant new Agile content (in addition to the course content) along with the application of that content can prove to be confusing and difficult for even the most engaged and motivated students. (Krehbiel et al., 2017)

agile methods focus on adapting a plan as it is executed (Sherrell & Robertson, 2006)

Agile methods also focus more on working code and less on traditional documentation. (Sherrell & Robertson, 2006)

Compared to students taught traditionally, students taught in a manner that incorporates small-group learning achieve higher grades, learn at a deeper level, retain information longer, are less likely to drop out of school, acquire greater communication and teamwork skills, and gain a better understanding of the environment in which they will be working as professional. - p. 9 (Oakley et al., 2004 )
